Photos taken during our honeymoon to japan on 10th Feb to 15 Feb 2008. Ya, we dragged for a couple of months before we went for our honeymoon. Japan is nice, but i still prefer Korea. The stuff there are so expensive! I also take this chance to meet up with my Japanese friend when i was in Tokyo. Really miss her ya, hope the next time we can go free & easy and can spend more time with her.

03/05/09--04:34: 1st Outing alone with baby!@ (chan 2682496)

Yesterday had a small gathering with 7 mummies from motherhood forum. Erm, actually dont really have the courage to bring kyler out alone, but under "psycho-ing" of one mother from the forum, i tried. Took cab to CCK with another 2 mummies who stayed near my block. It's tough to lug one bag, and carry a 5+kg kyler boy. well, my sling will only arrive next week, hope i didnt make a wrong choice and know how to use..

Time past really past when many mummies gathered together and talk about anything...haha...meeting the "before" and "after" mummies are well, so nice and sweet. We have been quite close knitted during the months. But lately, there are a few new mummies which i never meet before, hope to meet them soon ya...

03/11/09--05:33: Shopping for Kyler! (chan 2682496)

Had a short trip last Friday to Sunday to Bangkok. Trip was possible only because my best friend volunteered to help me take care of Kyler for the 3 days. So nice of her...really appreciate it and i really need the break.

Nowadays BKK stuff are not really cheap anymore. S$500 is definitely not enough. Those 199 baht shoes are not nice anymore, infact those nicer ones cost maybe 350-600 baht...which is equivalent to singapore's price...so i only managed to get one pair of shoes. And really can speak thai and cannot speak thai really got price difference lor... we were just beside the singaporean and they got a much higher price than us...

Anyway, i did managed to get a few dresses for work wear, as next month i be going back to work and i still cant fit in to my pre-pregnancy clothes...my most happy purchases are LE COQ Sportif clothes, i love that brand.

As for my dearest hubby, most of his money are spent on clothes for his dearest son...if i didnt stop him, he will continue buying......

Yesterday we had another motherhood forum gathering again. This time at another house near river valley. Thanks to her for being host. It was the biggest group ever...with 21 mummies i think...

Kyler had fun too and he made alot of friends...he is always an angel outside and a devil at home lor...

They are proposing another last gathering before some of us going back to work...time really pass so fast...next 14th april, i will be going back to work and Kyler will be going to Infant care....thinking of separating with him makes me sad...haiz

04/05/09--17:03: Kyler's 1st day of "School" (chan 2682496)

Today is Kyler's 1st day at the infant care. Be leaving him there for half a day for the 1st 2 days then the next two days will be full day.

Some thoughts -- At the last few days prior to 6th apr, me had been feeling really down and emotional on the thoughts that I will have to be separated with him. But well, guess that is really of no choice since I have to get back to work soon. At some points, i really hope to be SAHM, taking care of him 24hours. But that is not possible, I cannot afford to dont work lor...

Had been checking his bag for the infantcare several times, in case I miss out anything...guess that must be the anxiety that i have been feeling lately....haiz...

Me work up at 6.15am and feed him one feed 1st before getting ready to send him there. When i handed him over to the teacher, he was still smiling at the teacher....well, my boy is ever so smilely to others. And told the teacher on his drinking milk style, always so slow and active.

Hopefully he will be used to...

Been back to work for the past one week already.

Now every morning got to wake up at 5.50am to pump milk and prepare kyler to infant care and myself to work. Everyday was a mad rush to pick him up as me working in Raffles Place and the journey back home takes me about 45-50minutes. Now office havent shift to upstairs unit, so i can go by the back door which is faster. Hopefully when office shift, i will still be in time to pick him up.

It's really tiring after work at home, got lotsa of housework to do, prepare him for next day of 'school', and plus my part time work, sometimes i really feel so low morale. All the housework need to be handle by myself and adding onto the stress is my painful wrists! Yes, both left & right hands aches. Everyday by the time i settle down, its already 10pm, rest for awhile nia got to sleep and prepare for next day. Practically, not much time to mingle with kyler and my dogs....sianz x 10000

Finally, today is weekend, at least can have some free time....

My lovely sister gave kyler $100 to buy stuff ya...so nice of her rite? so mummy went on a mini shopping online to source for stuff for baby kyler...Wanted to get the bumbo chair for him long time ago, but unwilling to spend that amount of money...a brand new one cost $79.90...ex rite...but me like the chair coz so cute with the bright colours ya...

Bought a 2nd hand bumbo seat from a mummy at the forum at $45, ya, can find cheaper one but she is staying a few blocks away from me, so i tot its convenient...

Look at him....abit stunned when i placed him in the chair



He loves to put his fingers inside his mouth nowadays...is it normal?? Looks sooo yummy...

05/11/09--07:50: Toys!! (chan 2682496)

During the last long weekend, daddy suddenly exclaimed that there was a toy r us sale at united square...so off we go for shopping for toys. Usually, daddy refused to buy toys for kyler coz he always said waste of money and dunno whether he will like the toys or not...End up, he was so excited when he saw all the toys are up to 70% discount! Some are $15/$21...activity table we bought at $49 (UP was $119) etc, got leapfrog, fisherprice etc

In fact, he was the one who went dig for all the bargains...while i do the approval on which to get!  Kyler was very cooperative also during the sales, coz was quite crowded and seems like united sq no aircon at atrium!

06/07/09--03:56: Kyler is 5 & half months old.. (chan 2682496)

Erm, time really flies, kyler is 5.5 mths old already and mummy yet to start him on cereals. Shall do so next week. Really excited about it and i believe i need lots of patience with him. Seeing him everyday sometimes make me think back when he was in my tummy, and the period where mummy had contractions which led to a nearly pre mature baby, and then just nice i popped on the 37th week. And now he is coming to 6 mths old already.

He can flipped very well now and now but then his milk intake is still stucked at 150ml. Cant increase yet.

Mummy is more or less used to being busy everyday and so routine everyday. I am still diligently pumping BM for him, i dunno when should i stop or decided to stop. For now, I shall continue until i really buay tahan.

Heng little kyler is a boy boy....but look at how mummy dressed him up...



 

 




06/28/09--05:17: Weaning Kyler! (chan 2682496)

Yesterday, 27 June 2009 finally we started kyler on cereals. Lately after recovering from his package illness i.e. flu, cough and fever, his intake of milk has been decreasing badly. At times can only drink 30 - 50ml of milk. Daddy had resorted to using syringes to feed dear kyler.

Brought him twice to PD, and as usual PD said the usual thing. And even told us that his cough will get worse before it gets better. Mummy had to take 2 days urgent leave, plus my dad had to take leave to take care of him for the week when he was sick. Tough job man and of coz both me & hubby turned into zombie liao...due to lack of sleep.

After coughing a few more days, hubby suggested to bring to our usual GP...and 2 doses of medicine only...kyler was much better. After feeding him another 2 doses, we stopped. Daddy had also instructed me to give him all BM instead of last feed FM. He said FM is heaty and since he can also sleep thru when on BM, might as well. So now bb kyler is on tota...


07/19/09--17:49: Milestones! (chan 2682496)

Very fast, Kyler will be turning 7 months in a few days time. At times, thinking back he was so small at 2.7kg only, and now he had grown so fast and getting heavier day by day (I dunno his weight now as i dont bother to weigh him).

Remember when the CL left, i was so lost and no patience with kyler. Even scolded him real hard, oh my, he is just a baby, he wouldnt understand also. After seeing my SIL and friends' babies, then i know i am very very very lucky to have such a easy baby.

He slept thru since he was 2 months plus, didnt fuss alot, can sit in his pram playing by himself, he can entertain himself, no need to pay 100% attention to him, not scared of strangers and most important he is very very smilely...he smiles at anyone...

A few more days he will be turning 7 months and he can:

1. Flip left and right

2. Flip back

3. Grab and hold things

4. Pass things from left hand to right hand.

5. Bring his toes to his mouth (wahaha...)

6. Eat veggies and fruits

7. Lift his body up wit...

Lately, mummy always spend weekends preparing puree for baby kyler....

No choice, he has to eat frozen purees during weekends as mummy is FTWM, so weekends are the only time which i can take my own sweet time in preparing purees.

I even bought brown rice and grind into powder for him...





So far, dear kyler had tried the following foods:

1. Pumpkin

2. Butternut squash (bottled)

3. Peas

4. Rice cereal

5. Apples

6. Pears (bottled)

7. Jap sweet potatoes

8. Carrots (bottled)

The 2 most important men in my life now...besides my 2 furkids...

Lately, all postings are mostly on Kyler boy...

Just tot of posting some feelings here. I am facing some rough patches in my life currently. Feeling with low morale and restless, adding on, kyler is sick for the past one week.

Some things until now then i realized, which i think its' kindof late, everyone is selfish. Everyone will only think about themselves, no matter how nice a person treat you before, just one moment, they can turn their back against you and forget how nice you have been earlier. No matter how close you have been with that person, they can just simply change, with no reasons provided.

Well, family is always still the best. No matter what happens, family members will always be there for you, to lend a helping hand, to hold you tight when u are about to fall. and of coz to shower lots of TLC...

Thanks to my dearest hubby, he is always my pillar of strength, the hand that will grab me tight and dont let me fall, thanks to my family, my in laws etc...for being so pati...


09/03/09--21:46: Rough Patches... (chan 2682496)

I dont know why, but these 2 months dont seem to be smooth for me. Alot of hiccups in everything i do. Everything just dont seem to be right.

No longer doing my part time job as his daughter had graduated and he will let her do his work. So means a huge chunk of $$ gone, and means i have to save save save...Cant afford to spend like last time. Initially when i got to know it, i was really down and unable to accept the fact. I dont know how to survive based on one pay.

Then followed by stress by my MIL, she overall is a nice MIL. but sometimes she just cant seem to understand. She posted some questions to me, ask me why dont give kyler fresh food everyday and why must i use microwave to heat up the food. I know her daughter is very the free can everyday steam just 3 stalks of vege and puree on the spot. but i do not have time to do so, i can only prepare the purees during weekends and froze it. Why cant she understand that i am trying my best to juggle everything too?

Its a lot of wor...

Wow...been so long since i updated here. Lately been at facebook more often so sort of neglected here.

Time really flies, kyler is turning 1 year old soon. Remember last year at this time, I was still enjoying my hospitalization leave nua-ing at home.

He can now stand when holding on anything, crawl at a super speed and can chew more. But poor mummy has to keep thinking of what food to give him during weekends! Baby food seems to be so easy, but didnt know that need a lot of preparation to be done. My MIL has been providing me with lotsa fish, meat, vege for kyler, until no space in my freezer...so nice of her.

Erm, life now revolve around him and weekdays are a mad rush for me, especially when daddy is not around for a few nites in a week. Despite being busy and got to do more housework, me did not slim down at all! Wakakakaka....

From next month onwards, our life will have a bit of changes, as daddy will change new job, mummy hope things will turn smoother for him! So now mummy got...


12/02/09--23:52: Girl girl left us already... (chan 2682496)

Just wanna write a post on girl girl who left us today at 3.20pm, 3 December 2009. She was 15 yrs old already. Today i was on leave and mum told me that she wanna put her to sleep since she cant walk already and cant eat too. So i went back together with mercs to see her before they send her to the vet. And my sister took urgent leave and uncle took urgent leave too..when we went see her, she was panting motionless and lying there not moving, only slight breathing. We told her we are back to see her, big jie jie, small jie jie and her husband are back to see her. I told her perhaps its really the time she left us, hope she will be happy in her doggy heaven and when she reborn be in a happy family who love her as much as we do...i will remember her always. My sis still said why cant she wait for her to bring her to my sis new house...she cant wait already, she gotto go le...

I remember 15 years back, my sis keep begging my mum to buy her a dog. After much begging, my mum finally bo...


12/30/09--17:09: 2009 coming to an end... (chan 2682496)

Year 2009 is coming to an end in a couple of hours...

Sometimes, i will asked myself, what did i do for the past one year? Thinking back, i dont seem to achieve anything. My life has been plain and boring, not much changes or so...But still time pass so fast!

Perhaps, i should give myself a pat on my own back, cos i have been breastfeeding kyler for more than 365 days....

I hope and hope for the coming new year, everyone in my family will be healthier, happier, richer day by day!

And my dearest kyler to grow up to be a happy and healthy baby!

Today will be the last day of me moo-ing away for kyler...till date, i have been pumping diligently for the past close 13 months. kudos to myself for the preserverance...

It had been more or less a routine for me, starting when on maternity leave, i pump almost every 3 hours or so.. I was using avent single dual pump previously and i remember i used to pump for at least 40 mins before i clear both breasts. And it broke down twice which i got to send down for repair. After the 2nd time, i decided to complain and managed to get product refund for my product. Luckily, i bought the pump at a discounted rate of 40%.

Then i decided to change brand, bought medela cos it was sold at Kiddy Palace nearest to my house. Ya, the avent broke down and i was darn engorged so no choice but to get an affordable DUAL pump instead. Medela dual mini electric pump was on offer the other time, so i did not hesitate and get that instead. Oh my, the pump is so good to me cos my pumping time spent reduce from ...


06/21/10--22:45: 18 months old~ (chan 2682496)

Wahahaha...neglected this small mini little blog of mine for so long. Just simply cant get my butt moving and update a post in here. My last post was the last packet of BM...

Some updates on the Beh family:

Kyler is turning 18 months old tomorrow and he will progress to Playgroup on 1st July 2010. He is really a big boy already. Sometimes i really hope that time can pass slowly. He is at the stage that he is so fun to be with. Sometimes he can be so annoying and naughty that you feel like giving him a tight slap. But sometimes he can be so sweet to give you a kiss or a hug. Last month, he was running a high fever of 39.5 degrees and we sought medical advice at Mt A. He was admitted for a day for observance. Those few days were so tough on us. We were zombified. And the drip that was inserted on his hand made our heart bleed. And also made our pocket bleed, the bill came up to almost $1500.00. Luckily he recovered quite fast so he was discharged the next day.

He nowadays started to mum...


03/15/11--02:29: My Birth Story - Arrival of 2nd Prince - Kiefer Beh (chan 2682496)

My birth story:

5 march: went for szechuan dou hua restaurant for buffet lunch with parents. After that went shopping at vivo city and harbourfront mothercare sale. Then went tiong bahru to eat dinner and ta bao chwee kuey back. Watched DVD then zzz.

6 march: 1.15am jumped up from bed got feeling of peeing, those uncontrolled peeing. Went toilet and put a thick pad then attempted to go back to bed. But still got the uncontrolled peeing feel, so told my Hubby I think waterbag leaking. He immediately said he go bath and I Aldo went bath. Waited for my mum to come over and jaga kyler. Grab my bag, present for kyler and a towel then left the house.

2am: sat in a racing Hubby car to tmc. On the way already feel contractions and this time not slowly flowing water, become gushes of water and I wet my pants and the towels.

2.20am: reached hospital been wheeled up labour ward. Took weight, then changed gown. Pad overflow with blood.
Go back on bed, strap ctg, and answer nurse questions.

22.01.2012 Morning

When writing this post, my tears is already circling my eyes. Yes, my beloved mercs had just left me.

I remember when i adopted him in 1998,i just started working in Hong Leong and he was an unwanted dog. When i brought him back, he was so skinny and timid and was hanging on to me. He seems to be in hunger. I remember when i first saw him in a friend's shop, he was tied to a sink and there was no water no food for him to drink. Thus i decided to adopt him.

Ironically, i had always assumed that he was a pekingnese and i even registered him as one. Then later others told me that no, he is actually a Japanese Chin, a very rare dog and yes, he is had those rare golden brown fur coat and his paws are so white that it seems to be dip in paint. I was so proud of him and his fur, its seems to be so golden and he always brought stares from others, cos he was so rare so special...

the only thing bad about him is he pee everywhere, he was not toilet trained, not pee tray tr...
